Crock Pot Mondays – Chicken and Biscuits
Meal kits will be preassembled. No need to bring your slow cooker. Registration fee is $15. Please RSVP by the Monday prior to the event.
Ingredients
- 1 pound diced, cooked chicken breast
- 3 cups mixed vegetables
- 2 cups diced potatoes
- 2 teaspoons thyme
- 2 teaspoons granulated garlic
- 1 tablespoon poultry seasoning
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 3 cups cream of mushroom soup
For serving
- Buttermilk biscuits
Directions
- Add ingredients in order listed to a six-quart slow cooker.
- Cook on high for 3-4 hours, or on low for 6 hours.
- Stir well to combine.
- Warm biscuits in oven for five minutes at 375 degrees.
- Serve chicken mixture over warm biscuits and enjoy!
Participants must provide 24-hour notice in the event of meal cancellation and will be reimbursed accordingly. Participants are responsible for picking up meals during designated times and locations. SMSC Health and Wellness is not responsible for refunding meals that are not picked up.
