Crock Pot Mondays – Cubed Pork and Cabbage
Meal kits will be preassembled. No need to bring your slow cooker. Registration fee is $20. Please RSVP by the Monday prior to the event.
Cubed Pork and Cabbage
Ingredients:
3 cups chopped red cabbage
1 cup chopped yellow onion
2 tablespoons chopped garlic
2 green apples, sliced
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon caraway seed
Two pounds pork
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Directions:
- Place all ingredients in a large slow cooker and cook on low for 4-5 hours, or until pork reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Plate and let cool for one minute before serving. Enjoy!
Participants must provide 24-hour notice in the event of meal cancellation and will be reimbursed accordingly. Participants are responsible for picking up meals during designated times and locations. SMSC Health and Wellness is not responsible for refunding meals that are not picked up.
