Crock Pot Mondays – Mississippi Pot Roast
Meal kits will be preassembled. No need to bring your slow cooker. Registration fee is $20. Please RSVP by the Monday prior to the event.
Ingredients
2 pounds of stew meat, browned in a skillet
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons ranch dry seasoning
2 tablespoons French onion soup mix
2-4 pepperoncini peppers
1-2 tablespoons pepperoncini juice, optional
Directions
- Place stew meat and butter in slow cooker. Season with ranch seasoning and French onion soup mix. Top with pepperoncini’s and pepperoncini juice, depending on desired spice level.
- Cook on high for 4-5 hour, or on low for 6-8 hours, until meat is fork tender.
- Lightly mix and, if desired, shred stew meat. Enjoy!
Participants must provide 24-hour notice in the event of meal cancellation and will be reimbursed accordingly. Participants are responsible for picking up meals during designated times and locations. SMSC Health and Wellness is not responsible for refunding meals that are not picked up.
